So far so good

This week started with me trying to be a little more conscious of what I am eating and moving in the direction of taking better care of myself. It's so much more convenient to NOT do it, but I know it's in my best interest and so I am giving it another shot.

Instead of throwing myself into a strict regiment I decided to just start out by writing down everything that I eat and weighing myself every morning. I figure these two things combined will convince me of what I need to eat less of and what I need to eat more of.

I also started working on incorporating yoga back into my daily routine. Right now I am just doing AM yoga in the mornings, but it's more about me getting into the habit and the mindset at this point. I think it's good for me to start small and work my way up...when I do it cause I want to, rather than because I feel like I should or because of outside influences, it's much more beneficial.

So...so far so good. It's only been three days, but I think that making just these small changes will benefit me in the long run as I step it up and raise the stakes in my own time. I know I need to ease in or I will just fall back into this cycle of not just falling off of the wagon, but burning it to the ground. LOL

I know that reading about seramercury and vegawriters and their efforts to keep up with exercising has been an inspiration...so thanks guys!! *huggles

We'll see how this goes...I'll try and keep you guys posted so that I am held accountable to someone. LOL
