Yep...it's a beautiful day today. The temperature is wonderful...the sun is shining and aside from a couple of slight irritations, it's been a good day

That's crazy! My sister had a graduating snafu with University of Cincinnati. During the semester she forgot to do a homework assignment and test (who wouldn't when working full time, attempting to keep a house clean, and take care of three children). The teacher said since she was doing so well in class that he didn't think it would be a problem and told her not to worry about it. Final exams come and go and the teacher e-mails her saying he's missing an assignment and test grade for her and if she doesn't turn it in, she's going to fail the class (and retake it). She's like, dude WTF?? We discussed this. Since he hadn't said anything she thought everything was good, ya know? He ended up giving her some assignment and passed her.
I am in love with this post. So much attitude. I love when you get attitudinal. :)
I'm so glad we went for a walk and that we got to catch up...I know we've been hanging out and talking all the time, but with this cold - you've just felt far away and I know you're dealing with stuff and I've not been making things easy being cranky and sick but today was a good day. *nods and hugs her bestie*
As for dropping me off in Hell - it's okay. Only one more week baby! WHEEEE!!!! And things are going up and up and up with regard to that place. So, it's okay. Don't let it bum you out. *snuggles*
And OMG!!! Look at all your cool new friends! I SO heart them!!! *squishes every one*
It must have been amazing to hear this woman’s life story. Just reading about how immersed you were in her life makes me realize how important it is to record stuff for future generations.
If it will help, I shall glare in the general direction of DeVry.

it sucks to take your best friend to a place and leave her there when you know it's been the source of so much stress and misery.

It's true though. I am always trying to find a way to talk her out of going to that wretched place. Yes...it's evil of me, but I can't help it.

*hugs her and you*
