The weather on Friday was very warm. Mid-30s. I found this to be Very Bad because I knew there would be a lot of melting, which would then re-freeze after dark. I was correct, and scraped my left hand knuckles when I slipped on the ice while coming down the front walk Saturday night. I also have a large mottled bruise on the heel of that hand. I've got the first two. There were a lot of plots that irritated me in the last two seasons, but that is balanced out (possibly) by the awesomeness of the cast. I know I'm in the minority, but the burn-off time travel plot was totally my favorite part of the home stretch.

(Only tangentially related, but I had irrational Teri Polo hatred for years based on her Sports Night/Felicity stints of "I'm divorced...I mean separated." The West Wing made me like her again.)

It's obviously stayed with me for awhile, hee!

I just know I'd always feel overshadowed, so I wanted to send you something solely birthday-y! I was hoping you'd get it before your birthday, but I guess that's slightly out of my control. :)
