So December 8th is the due date of my first large (ie 3500 word) written assessment. I'm quite nervous. I haven't done proper 'research' for a paper in over a year and I never felt I had a strong academic writing style. After looking at my friend Liz's photos of the Fleet Week Blue Angels Air Show, I suddenly feel very home sick for beautiful San Francisco. God I love that city. It's gorgeous. Today I went to the stationary store to find some gridded/graph paper (i don't do notes on lined paper, i like engineering grids) and a binder for class notes. First i was upset because in the USA graph paper is easy to find in a 1-pica size grid (1 pica = 1/6 inch if you didn't know). I like the pica. It's a nice size. My day
Today I went on a private tour of UCL's Institute of Archaeology's archaeological collections. I held several Greco-Roman vases and artifacts, mostly from the 4th-5th century BC. I just got a SPAM mail in my gmail account. I don't use my gmail account for anything except personal emails. How did this happen?! I've had it for months and no problems. I'm going to get upset if it keeps happening. That's why i opened that damn account. -
