I just watched a pretty good episode of the X-Files. The opening scene was of a sequence of events that caused Mulder to have to skip out on a meeting at the office and run to the bank to deposit his paycheck to keep a check he wrote his landlord from bouncing. And then, while in the bank, it gets robbed, Scully enters during the robbery, Mulder

When you think about, if you dissect every storyline, it all comes back to some crazy idea that has been around for ages and has just been interpreted differently by different people... kind of like religion.
