Despite 2011 holding some pretty cool stuff, I'm rather glad to see it go.

Staying in tonight with a friend or two, a warm fire, roast pork, mead, whisky, and Beowulf (both in 3D as interpreted by Neil Gaiman and the original sung in Anglo-Saxon).

Hope all my friends out in lj-land have a fun and safe secular years-end. :)

Emrys appears deeply affronted by the fact his mouse now tastes like fabric softener, so perhaps the catnip sock incident will not have as much impact as originally feared. :P

When you have a cat with a pronounced foot/sock/shoe fixation, it is unfortunate to discover whilst unloading your laundry that somehow his catnip mouse got mixed in and washed/dried with your socks load. . .
