On Stranger Tides Countdown Discussion: Day 4
Pilfered from corrielle - counting down the days to Thursday (that's when I'll see On Stranger Tides - yes, I've already bought the ticket!).
Day 4. What are your hopes for the new film? What are you most looking forward to?
As somebody who was very disappointed with At Wits End, I hope that "Pirates of the Caribbean" will go back to its roots. I hope for great characters, lots of battles (preferably at sea), witty dialogues, prettiful ships and dashing uniforms. In short, I hope for two hours of lighthearted entertainment.
I'm looking forward to the return of the RN, of course; without them, I wouldn't have given PotC a second chance without them. I hope for more scenes with Gillette than in the first movie, and with a bit of luck, he might even be allowed to say a line or two. ;-) Also very curious to see the Spanish navy, and of course the mermaids!
