vacation and surgery
Chris and I went camping in Mexico with friends over the weekend for Fuente Eterno. The weather was perfect and we did LOTS of dancing and even more walking. Especially to avoid some of the more treacherous terrain with my bum knee (although his isn't too great either). We had a great time. Blueberry
I watched this movie over the weekend. It's "loosely" based on a comic book called "Blueberry" by Moebius. I guess that name was too far-fetched for American audiences so they gave it the crap B-movie western name RENEGADE. The only reason I rented this is because Vincent Cassell was in it and I loved him in BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF. So glad I did ( Read more... ) -
The beast is dead
This weekend our friend Bennie brought a team of workers over to our house to tackle Cthulu's playground in our front yard. I don't know if you can appreciate the scope of this job from these BEFORE photos but these plants were immense. Some of the plants were more than 7' tall with roots so deep they were starting to impact the sewer system ( Read more... ) -

So much awesome
Comic book artist Cliff Chiang re-created these classic 80s LP covers featuring comic book characters. I hope continues to add more covers to this series. I love them :)
