On a non-writing note, I love my family because we can laugh ourselves sick over intellectual discussions on if LLandudno is pronounced properly, should llama be pronounced that way too? 

So we picked up Sarupapa from the train station because it's grocery night.  Went to Swiss Chalet for dinner; had a heated discussion in line while we waited for a table with Sarupapa about 'court of public opinion' when it comes to famous people and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi's recent run in with trouble as well as Ryo-chan's and how people always complain ( Read more... )

So I had my family Christmas this weekend, which is always good for a few laughs.  Some highlights include:

-- iceball fights

When there's no packing snow, ice chunks make an acceptable substitute.  Age is not a barrier and Laura and I were pummeled by two 12 year olds, a 9 year old, an 8 year old, and a 3 year old.

So it was a rather full weekend for me.

Friday night after work, myself and four other co-workers drove downtown to check into our hotel before the exam on Saturday.  We dumped our stuff, took a walk over to the University building where the exam was to check how much of a hike it was and then walked back (finding a quicker route).
