I was just thinking 'hmm, what kind of vehicle would be best to commandeer if an urban apocalypse happened?' ...
For some reason I was eying one of those taco trucks - the kind that drives around and sets up shop so it can serve you food. A great way to ensure you'll be able to make yourself tastee meals in the eventuality of global crisis! But in the case of zombies, ambulances with readily available medical care might be a tad more important.
Hot Wheels (1:72 to 1:64 scale, roughly) would be perfect if I were using true 25mm minis and following true Savage Worlds scale, but I'm using re-based *Clix (HeroClix, HorrorClix, ActionClix, Mage Knight) minis, which are more in the 30-something mm scale range. My old metals would look just fine next to Hot Wheels ... except that I don't have much in the way of "moderns" to populate a zombie apocalypse setting. I was able to get troves of Clix minis on the very cheap (sometimes 5-10 cents each, sometimes even less) when WizKids was floundering and most of the lines got discontinued, and the local comics stores ended up dumping "grab bags" of singles they had on stock

A catering truck would be useful, too. But I think the modified RV is still the best vehicle for zombie apocalypse world that we've seen yet. :D

I find Hot Wheels to be Close Enough for 25-28 mm minis.
