I'm currently way too energetic and experiencing happiness mingled with terror.
Why?
'cause I found out a couple of hours ago that I was accepted to the student exchange program in Kenya. Me and one of my friends from my class have each been offered a spot at Moi University this summer. Insane!! Wow.

Odd
I think I had a hypnagogic hallucination last night. It's when you're just about to fall asleep. I've had them before, a few times I've woken up quickly after falling asleep, and I jolt awake with my heart racing and a deep sense of dread that I can't find a reason for. I finally can forget about my "Health, learning and ethics" course for a while. We presented our report this Friday, a rather cringe-worthy presentation but at least it's done now. Next week I'm starting my Voice Dysfunction 2 course, which includes a dissection on a pig's larynx and observation of a dissection on a human larynx, which I think is ( Read more... ) -

In other news, this journal is on a bit of a hiatus until after summer. I might update a bit, but not as much as I will later.

I started working at the home care service this Monday. The first three days (which means until today) have been introduction days, which means I've mostly observed one of my co-workers visit clients, so I can learn how to do it. Leaving for Greece
I started writing on the internship post, but I haven't finished it yet and I'm leaving for Greece in a second. But I'll try to finish it and post it while I'm there, maybe along with some photos of our vacation house.
