A collection of first impressions

A couple of days ago, I got to visit Trader Joe's. I've never been to one before, but it's a store that inspires undying devotion from people. I wasn't sure what to expect; I had the general idea that it was like Whole Foods, except cheaper. It's probably more accurate to say it's the Big Lots of Whole Foods. The rain was one of the big drawbacks of Seattle for me. I hope you get accustomed! :)

Same here! After four months, Wrocław still feels dreamlike and vacation-y. :)

That's awesome! I wonder how much of the vacation-y aspect is due to loving the city and how much of it is the newness. I guess we'll both find out in the next year or so.... :-)

Snoqualmie Falls, and the lodge there, is where a lot of Twin Peaks was filmed. I'm thinking of having a Twin Peaks DVD night after moving up there in honor of my move to Seattle. :)

Not fair playing the Twin Peaks card in trying to lure me up there. The first photo from the link looks like a still taken directly from the opening credits. I didn't realize that Snoqualmie was that close to Seattle. Or that you would resort to such tactics. :P (Or that Bob being in the woods there is somehow a selling point for me...)

That look's real. I hadn't realized it was a luring factor, or that Bob, whoever he is, would also help.

But now that I do know that, I must get my camera out of storage so that I may ply you with more photos...

Did I mention it was a 35 minute drive? Less, if you live more on the eastside.
