Add to that the fact that after you'e waited to order and finally started that first bite...the first person will be finishing up and looking accross the table irritably because you aren't finished yet...and the waiter is giving you the eye because he really needs your table for the next guests...and your boss is frowning because your lunch break is taking too long.
And then there are those that can make a quick decision only to discover after the work is done that the decision was not the right decision so the work must be re-done.
No serious skin off the nose of the person making the decision, but the person who has to do the work (who does NOT have a lot of extra time), gets the full brunt of their bad thought processes.
