Today is not your day....
Tomorrow is not looking good either.
Not really that bad. It's a little rough today because my subordinate is out sick and my supervisor is in meetings, which means I am minding the store, and things are coming from every direction.
The good news: the really long meetings I had are over, and I am on top of most things.
I am going to lock the office door and chill and do paperwork.
I may even make it to the gym!
So, busy. Not too busy. Definitely earning my income.
Why were the meetings long, you ask?
I am sometimes shocked at how easily I can be exhausted by indecisive people. Working with someone who can make a decision is enjoyable. Working with someone who has to revisit every decision 8 or 9 times is excruciating. So I smile, and we look at all the decisions again.
Doesn't sound too rough? Imagine you are at a restaurant and someone can't make up their mind about dinner while you are waiting to order, then drag that on for a few weeks.
Additionally, my "work" really cannot start until these decisions are made. Until then, I am just smiling & waiting while the time I have to complete my projects ticks away. Fun :)
But, that's enough of that. Time for lunch!
