My first herniated disc was about a month ago, and now I have my first flare up from it. This morning I bent to get something and I literally felt a :::twannngggg:::. Yeouch.

Pain relievers have been ingested and ice packs shall be applied once I get home.

• The "Positively Pomegranate" flavor of Orbit gum is good. 
• I like my new dental hygenist - she's gentler than the last lady I went to and she was able to get the burgeoning wine stains out from between my lower front teeth. You can floss all you like but it won't remove stains, and my Sonic Care doesn't do the job in between the teeth. 

Yesterday I tried my hand at making refrigerator pickles (not preserved via canning, must be eaten within one week). They came out delicious!

I sliced thin one cucumber and put it plus a handful of baby carrots in an old one quart plastic container, and poured the pickling liquid over it.

• 3/4 cup water
• 3/4 cup white vinegar

I often don't wear my wedding ring. I broke the ring guard in it and since it's a little too big on me and has been known to fall off my hand I default to not wearing it most of the time.

On Facebook I am 'friends' with a number of musicans.... now, some of these guys are not people I know personally, but I'm a fan. They friended me and now I can see all sorts of personal photos of theirs, like photos of one of their kids high school graduation party.

I went to the Wines of Chile tasting today. A few things:

The other day at work I came upon one of my coworkers talking to two customers about their trip to his native DR. The gentleman was asking about a drink called mamajuana. Seems that we carry a bottled version of it here in the store.
