Fencing practice last night was... interesting. I felt very awkward and off my game (what little game I have) but I learned a lot.

I haven't been sleeping well the past few days and it's left me tired and lethargic. I want and need to work on art, and I have more time now that I'm working part time (not my idea), I have the time, but I'm having a hard time getting to work on it ( Read more... )

A few weeks ago, I looked up my local SCA chapter, the Barony of Angels, emailed the light weapons (rapier fencing) marshal, and asked if it would be okay if I joined their weekly practice.
