Two TV shows I didn't have high hopes for when I saw the promos for them but turned out to be REALLY good:

Dollhouse
Castle

I find Stana Katic in Castle way more appealing and way hotter than Eliza Dushku in Dollhouse.
Except, I went and looked at some pics of Katic on google images, and she DOES have some unflattering shots out there. The stylist on Castle does her justice (no pun intended.)
Whenever I ask you what we have recorded, and you say "we have a Castle episode" I'm like "uh...ok...consolation prize...nothing else good on there?" But when we put it on I always enjoy it a lot. I forget how much I like it.

Stana Katic was very glammed out in the latest Librarian movie. She can clean up well, and I agree that the stylist on Castle "does her justice."

Haven't seen Dollhouse, but Castle is great. Nathan Fillian seems suited to the over the top roles.

Did you see Caprica? I know you weren't big on BSG, but this is really cool!

No, I haven't seen it. Is it a BSG thing or just made by the same people?

It's supposed to be the pre-quell, which is really good- because it is makes a lot
more sense. It is very much worth a shot.

What's Castle? I'm looking forward to Dollhouse making it over here eventually :)

Castle stars Nathan Fillion (of Firefly fame) as a wise-ass author (named Richard Castle) who writes crime novels and teams up with a no nonsense female detective, as research for his new novel series.

Like I said, the premise didn't really catch my interest, but I gave it a chance because of Nathan. He's great in this series, and the other characters are fun too. Plus the story lines are interesting and fun.
