The cool thing is, it might mean that Pippin will deal with little sister kitties better than we thought. After we move and are settled in, I mean. Last night I was trying to get back in the house from the patio and both Harley and Pip were practically nose to nose trying to figure out how to escape the sliding glass door. Partners in crime! We really lucked out on the Gnarley, though. I love to see him run down the hallway. He's like a pear roling down a sidewalk.
My Theory is that Pippin doesn't care as much, because he is secure in his position as the alpha. But for Pumpkin.. whoa.... now it is contest to see who is #2 or #3.
