This morning was my final presentation for the MSc project. It went ok - certainly better than last year's (I turned up early rather than late, wasn't gasping for breath, had slides prepared, and an application to demonstrate). A few minor hiccups though...

Well, project is now ready for submission, with <4 hours to go. I've just emailed the report to the printers, so hopefully they'll be able to handle it, and I can go to meet them and collect it. It's not perfect, but hopefully it's good enough.

Getting closer to Friday's deadline... After taking last week off work, I was hoping to get a draft of my project report sent to my supervisor yesterday morning. The project's going ok. I'm not going to have time to achieve everything I set out to do, but I think that the best approach is to have a well-written report that covers what I have done, and a simulation with limited functionality that does what it does well, rather than handing in a bunch of stuff that's incomplete (like last year ( Read more... )

Just a brief "I'm still alive" post. I've now got my PC set up properly at home, and I'm taking this coming week off work in a last ditch attempt to get my project under control.
