As I'm slowly recovering from the Lurgi and starting to feel (a bit) more human, I was wondering if anyone has any plans for Saturday night that we might be able to gatecrash?

This is my first 'quiet' weekend since the beginning of September and my last unil the end of October, so I want to make the most of it!

I've just booked tickets for myself and AM to go to the 6.15pm preview showing of Serenity, next Thursday (6th October) at the Vue Cinema, in the Light.

If anyone wants to join us there is plenty of space - when I booked I got the first two seats in the auditorium!

I have a dilemma; Nigel Slater has a new book out called 'The Kitchen Diaries' it's been serialised in the Observer for the last two weeks and would appear to be another foodie masterpiece from someone who I consider to be one of the best cookery writers in Britain. The lovely brats on the summer playscheme at RHCC are having an end of summer disco. They're presently bopping to 'Supperman' by Black Lace...

Someone please come and take me away from this, my own, version of hell.
