Silent Kitchen Porn...
I have a dilemma; Nigel Slater has a new book out called 'The Kitchen Diaries' it's been serialised in the Observer for the last two weeks and would appear to be another foodie masterpiece from someone who I consider to be one of the best cookery writers in Britain. I saw a copy of the actual book in Borders the other night and it is *pretty*.
As you can probably tell I really want a copy. My dilemma is AM has offered to buy me a copy as an 'anniversary' present (we've will have been going out for 3 years on 18 October) but that's NEXT MONTH and I want to read this book NOW...
So, do I buy a copy through Amazon or wait until my lovely boyfriend presents me with one on October 18th?
In other news, we *almost* won the quiz at the Vic last night. We got enough points to get to the tie breaker and narrowly missed the grand prize of 8 pints of ale.
