I'm curious to know what precisely you thought was better in the Hogeboom price. I can't think of anything. The Emery house to me not only is a better value, but it is better overall (more bedrooms, bigger yard, fenced yard, newer windows, etc.).

I'm saying I liked the Hogeboom one better first but Emory is a better value.

I know what you're saying. But why did you like the Hogeboom one better? You should also learn how to spell Emery :-)

I thought the Hogeboom ground floor was nicer and had the greater number of windows.

Boy, I don't think I could take the Eau Claire winter. We've had a handful of spring days here in Chicago, but I feel like it hasn't been nearly enough, and has come much too late. One of these days I'm retiring to a ranch in southern Texas or something.

Well, the snow in that photo was along the ever-in-shade north side of the house. Though we didn't hit zero inches of snow cover until the weekend of April 5. I think I was born for living in cold climes.

I wasn't referring so much to the snow remnants as the fact that you've only just now had your first nice day. We've already had several, but my parents were calling me back when it was still heavy-coat weather here, and saying "yeah we're playing golf, it's warm!"
