Joan was excited about moving in to the new apartment she and Hoshi had found. It wasn't that she hadn't enjoyed her time at home with her family, it was just that she had gotten used to having more freedom.

After running into Raven in the park and possibly getting a dog, Joan had made a trip to the pet store to pick up supplies and was now sprawled out on the floor, playing with Anahata.

Joan's door was cracked open and there was 80s music playing while she did her hair and makeup for the dance. Just in case any of her friends wanted to stop by and get ready together.

Joan was sprawled out on the floor of her room surrounded by catalogs and magazines. There was a dance this weekend, she had a date and she needed a dress. She even had permission to use the credit card her parents had given her for emergencies to purchase said dress.
Now all she needed to do was figure out what color and style she wanted.
