It kind of sucked not having real post-graduation plans yet but Joan was working on it. At least she had a potential roommate and wouldn't have to move back in with her family. And since Hoshi would be commuting via portal, they could live just about anywhere ( Read more... )

Hoshi knocked lightly on the door frame and poked her head in. "Hey Joan. Can I come in?" she asked.

"Of course," Joan said, glancing up with a smile. "I was just thinking about you. Sorta. Trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing after graduation."

Joan's jaw dropped and she ran over to tackleglomp Liir. Anahata also ran over to sniff him happily.

"I don't hate you at all," she said, her voice muffled since her face was sort of buried in his chest. "And it's been so long that I was getting afraid you were never coming back."
