At work, Disney is abbreviated as "DN" on pricing labels.

Every time I see that, I translate it to "Death Note."

Seeing "DN" in close relation to Hannah Montana explains so much, and yet so little.

My biggest accomplishment is that I wrote today. I got in just over six hundred words. It's not much, but it's at least a start. I'm fairly satisfied with them and it's in a newish voice that I rather like. So I'm calling it a success thus far. I'm taking a class called World Masterpieces. What we do is pretty much what it says on the cover: we read works that are considered masterpieces.

Last night, a friend of mine wrote a post about following through with your dreams. How we should never give up, never say die, and that the people who tell us we're doing it wrong, or going to fail, or doing the wrong thing, need to get stuffed.
