But I agree with what you are saying. You have to take in account a lot of things when it comes to I guess dating people. Personality alone cannot be something to base who you want to date (unless you are okay with dating all your friends I guess whom you think have good personalities...I could see in some cases this would work

lol. I'm going to take that as stating that if attraction was completely irrelevant, gender would also be immaterial to that person, namely Carrie, when they are considering a relationship.
I do agree with most of the points you made. The clothes thing is a bit off, I think it has more to do with how the guy looks in them, than the actual clothes. Also, I don't remember if I brought this up at the party but, it is possible to think someone is hot and not be attracted to them or vice versa.

I’ve done that, more than once. I have an almost funny story about that. Taking getting hit on as a joke, not screwing with guys emotions. The one time I did that was totally not on purpose.
