Precisely. He's so used to his partner not necessarily looking out for *him* in this situation, though, that he's kind of forgotten that bit.

What I think is perhaps most amazing is that they managed to calm down and actually go to sleep at the end!
Peter's still recuperating from sleep deprivation, and Rose didn't really sleep the night before....so they're both a bit knackered.
I'm wondering if there will be a call from Mickey in the wee hours and if there'll be something (in the case, most likely) that forces Rose and Peter to be apart for any length of time.
Would I do something like that?!

She was going to sleep with him tonight; was, in fact, actively planning on it instead of just letting it happen.
And we all know what happens when Ms. Rose Tyler sets her mind to doing something!
He’d said it didn’t mean they’d have sex, but she wasn’t entirely sure she’d be able to share a bed with him and not touch or taste him.
Surely he should consider himself lucky if he manages to get any sleep at all.
He seemed to have the same thought, finally responding in a low voice, “That is...not such a good idea...”
It’s an excellent idea, if you’re not hell-bent on spending the night at your place!
Besides, I would love to see Peter have to do the Walk of Shame ( ... )
