Precisely. He's so used to his partner not necessarily looking out for *him* in this situation, though, that he's kind of forgotten that bit.

What I think is perhaps most amazing is that they managed to calm down and actually go to sleep at the end!
Peter's still recuperating from sleep deprivation, and Rose didn't really sleep the night before....so they're both a bit knackered.
I'm wondering if there will be a call from Mickey in the wee hours and if there'll be something (in the case, most likely) that forces Rose and Peter to be apart for any length of time.
Would I do something like that?!
