I love this! All of the characters and the relationships are amazing, and I really enjoyed the strong supporting characters as well as Jim and Leonard, whom you made me fall in love with all over again. It's just so well written that I can't really find the words to do it justice!

I'm having a hard time figuring out the words to describe how much I love this. I think for now I'm just going to have to stick with "a lot" and figure out the rest later because reading 60000 words takes a lot out of you. :P

No wait, I got it: I love this so much that I'll forgive Jim and Spock for being Trojans. :P

hahaha, do I have a Bruin in the house? And only Jim is really a Trojan-Spock was grad student'ing.

But that's super high praise! Thank you so much, I'm so pleased you enjoyed the story!

Lol, yes you do. So Spock gets off a little easier. And Jim's pretty. So...

This is just amazing-so many great things in such a well-written thoughtful story. From McCoy's Pylon shirt to Joanna's critique of Hollywood genderswapping, I loved every part of this story. I can't even list all the great little things (did you really imply that McCoy & Joanna inspired Castle? Did you really put the idea of a naked Karl Urban doing the backstroke in my head? THANK YOU FOR THAT BTW :) The development of the relationship between Kirk and McCoy was amazing, and really reminded me of why I love the ship so much in the first place.

Also, I've been quoting this to my flist for the last hour:

"Spock," McCoy said, eyes flashing, "where I come from you don't ask a lady about her sex life at the Waffle House."

Probably because at that point, I gave up on doing homework and committed to finishing this tonight. Which was a good decision.

Thanks!

I realized how much Joanna was inspired by Alexis and decided to just be meta about it. I'm so pleased the romance worked because I wanted to do something a little different.

Thank you!!

Wow...just WOW. I honestly don't have words for how very very much I am totally in love with this story. It's absolutely breathtaking and perfect! It's definitely already one of my favorite pieces of fic that I've ever read.

I'd blather on some more, but I really should have gotten to bed an hour ago instead of reading. o_O But I couldn't stop!

Thank you so much for mentioning the pacing-with a story this long it's the biggest thing I worry about so I really appreciate that! And it was fun to write about these guys who are mostly surrounded by ladies. Carol was a hoot because she's so strong but so all over the place and just expects people to come along with her. So I'm glad that you liked the ladies!

The Hurt Locker definitely made this feel less like a fantasy, not required but welcome.

I'm glad that you liked the story. Thanks for this lovely comment!
