She's there, she's glowing, and she's pissed. With a stare that makes her look little like the cheerful girl that hangs with people like Plaz and Guy Gardner.

"Time to hurt, you shits," Jade snarls as she flies into the fray, full power, fast and hard.

The first wave of horrors are shredded even before they can get close to Jade. She's like a tumult of fury incarnate. More agile and resilient monstrosities however avoid the initial onslaught and close distance.

A large multi armed thing that appears to approximate the appearance of a savage woman from the waist up and a titanic serpent from the waist down grasps Jade by the ankle as noxious fumes belch from her fanged mouth. The smokey gas has a numbing effect that threatens to force sleep upon it's victim. Above, fell shadowy creatures on reptilian wings dive and attempt to rake the lady Lantern with their claws.

"Let her go."

Obsidian's shadows slice through the demonic arms and claws to free his sister. Shadowy beings are nothing to him.

Going into his shadowform, Obsidian flies at the serpent and begins to pummel away.

"Todd..." The fumes are overwhelming, and Jade's eyes start to droop. What was...who...?

He floats almost serenely above the fray, searching for a target of opportunity - one that sings to his senses.

His efforts, for now, focus on bolstering his allies - old enchantments of protection, particularly to guard their psyches against the chaotic onslaught.

One of the Eclipsed Lanterns Dragons spies the Stranger and it rears back it's massive head. Then quite suddenly, it lunges forward with onyx and emerald flame spewing forth as it snaps it's great jaws down upon the grey wanderer.

And suddenly the Atom's size increases to his normal few inches, and he blasts Eclipso with the solar ray.

"Eat sunlight, you monster!"

He raises a hand, invoking a spell of warding so old that it has no name, creating a pale translucent disk to hold the dragon's jaws apart - flinching as they impact the shield, nonetheless.

Violet fire streaks from her hands, aimed at the swarming demons. Her lips are drawn back in a snarl.

The unearthly fire lances through the opposition, cutting a swath of destruction along side the emerald fury unleashed by Jade. As one wave of unholy monsters is decimated, several more roll forward in their place. Something that looks like a mass of writhing vines jagged with teeth springs from the oncoming horde and sails through the air towards Nightstar.

She's not afraid of anything in the air. She's been flying since she was a baby. She has more than the gift of flight inherited from her mother. She has her father's reflexes. "Oooh, a fierce ball of yarn!" she jeers, even as she twists and turns away, trying to draw the creature away from the others.

The storm of barbed appendages lash out in fury, as the otherworldly Titan expertly dodged them with a dazzling display of ariel expertise.
It scrambles after her and purple and red pustules begin to form and swell upon it's viney anatomy.

Hovering above all others, her entire frame suffused by the green energy of the Starheart, Jade turns this way and that, looking for signs of her father. For Todd. For something to say what happened was not how it seemed. Through the shared energy she calls out to him in tandem with her verbal cries. DADDY...

Zattana's magic, The Atom's artificial sunlight and most importantly, his children. They give Alan Scott the strength to do what few in history have ever done.

For a moment the shadow mark disappears.
They have to kill me before I loose control..
NO! That's Eclispo, trying to soil our souls. I will not tell my children to murder thier own father!! We will beat you demon! No partial victories for you!
WE SHALL SEE OLD FOOL!!
The war of psyches can be faitly heard by Alan's emerald daughter.

The shadow marks begin to manifest again, but not before Jenny and Todd's father can blurt out.
"Jenny..Todd...Starheart and Shadow.."

"Todd! To me! Hurry! We have to merge our powers." Jenny can't quite figure what her father wants, but she gets the general idea. Eclipso can be banished. She knows it.

And he's there beside her, locking his hand with her's.

He's not sure just what they have to do or how to do it, but by damnit, it will be done.
