Kyle had spent most of the morning buying groceries from the store, and simple enjoying the sunlight as he walked around the city. Strange weather had been happening in most of the country and the world, but New York had been left untouched for the most part giving people the much needed break before winter set in completely

A second stream of light parallels Kyle's.

"Good to see you back around, Kyle," Hal nods.

"Its good to see you too Hal. I had plans to stop by and see you, but I've been trying to get everything in order."

Kyle looks over and smiles at the man who had been an icon and a mentor to him.

"Any idea whats going on? Why its so urgent?"

A third green streak through space approaches. "Hey, guys. Anyone else got a bad feeling about this?"

Kyle turns towards the other light and nods a greeting with a smile on his face.

"Glad to see you could make it, and your right. Its got to be something big if Mogo is asking for help. I just wish we had a better idea of what was going on."

Arisia's eyes open wide, where she's at standing in Warriors. In the amount of time it takes for her to think it, she's changed into her uniform and is streaking up out of the sky, a flame of green.

Limited only by the strength of her will, she's quickly on her way to Mogo, worried.

Kilowog is responding from Oa, so he'll be on the scene a bit more quickly, and he's got a crew of rookies with him.

Another shopping trip ruined, and this time she had Alan and Molly's credit card. Rats.

Jade's transformation from emerald cover girl to Green Lantern goes by in a blink on her way skyward. The people in Bloomingdales just see her streak past.

The Lanterns approaching Mogo steadily approach a flood of green - the planet-Lantern has created its own battlefleet of energy constructs, all firing steadily upon one solitary giant figure, silhouetted in the emerald light...

Eyes that had witness the birth of the universe itself stared longingly at the strange planet. Its lifeform like none it had ever encountered in the universe, the life essence from it would saite his hungry for a long time to come.

A gigantic metal ship, completely of alien design hovered steadily behind. Huge drills and other constructs prepared to launch in the planets direction, the device that would enable him to feast on the world.

Turning his huge head over his right shoulder he address the silver form hovering next to him. The strange being listened attentive to its master's instructions to clear the way for his vessel. Instantly, the silver board upon which the being stood shot forward in the direction of the green energy constructs, beams of cosmic energy summoned forth of its hands aimed to destroy the opposition of its master.

"Holy flamin' crap, that thing's HUGE

Koltor Zal is Jade's first priorty, getting him away from danger and surrounded by a force field. His own ring can help maintain that.

She retrieves his mace, too, since the Thanagarian'll be wanting that back when he comes to, and besides, having that Nth metal to whallop Silver Dude might come in handy. "HEY!" she calls to the Surfer. "What's going on here? What's up with the whacking on Lanterns thing? You guys got a beef or what?"

The surfer cocks his head at an angle, the power cosmic allows him to understand the language of any creature in the universe, but her wording confuses him.

"No I have no meat, and you and your associates have put yourselves between my master and his goal. He must feed to replenish his energy. Begone before I am forced to harm you as I did the others."

"Blah blah blah blah," Jade says, hefting the mace. "What's your master's goal? He looking for a cosmic gas station or something? If you ask nicely we might help. Maybe. Without beating on each other."

Though she'd totally enjoy trying the mace.

"My master does not ask! He feeds so that he might fufill the universe's destiny. He does not act out of malice, he does what must be done, and you can not stop."

A strange feeling fills the air as the Surfer begins to draw the Power Cosmic from the universe around him, building up the energy inside of himself.

"I will not warn you again! I have no desire to harm you, but I will fufill my master's will."
