Distress Call
Kyle had spent most of the morning buying groceries from the store, and simple enjoying the sunlight as he walked around the city. Strange weather had been happening in most of the country and the world, but New York had been left untouched for the most part giving people the much needed break before winter set in completely.
Paper bags in both hands; filled nearly to the brim, Kyle struggled to balance them in his hands while digging his keys out of his pocket and unlocking the door. Finally, getting the better of his struggle the door swings open. That was when the ring; invisible on his hand, began to vibrate. Without a seconds thought he put the bags down on the counter and used his will to cause the ring's voice to explain to him the situation.
The ring didn't know much, just that there was a universe wide emergency call. Moving for his window Kyle's clothes change into the uniform of the Green Lantern as he shoots up towards space. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew Mogo was in trouble.
