Final visit is done. I'm glad it's over. Our social worker said she thinks we are doing a fantastic job with Biz and the open adoption. She asked Val if we'd be interested in speaking with the next adoption prep class when they do the open adoption class. We'll have to see if Biz's birth mom is interested in that though

Open adoptions are not legally enforceable but we have no desire to change it. We consider Biz's birthmom (and her folks) like part of our family. We adore them. It's hard to explain and I know that our situation is not the same as other open adoptions.

As far as not being able to flirt....I tried to flirt with my husband online yesterday and couldn't think of a damn thing to say. It was sad really. Oh well.

And yes - you can blame effexor! lol

I hear ya on the sexy/flirting feeling. I just feel so dumpy and old. When I see photos of me from even a few years ago I wonder what went wrong! I want to turn back the hands of time. Where is Dr. Rey when you need him?
