Tired/hungover, and working at the mall.

Yesterday was productive, I got a lot of the house cleaned and a lot of softball practice in. Kinda sore from using those muscles again. Paul did really well hitting for his first time too ( Read more... )

Saturday while taking the puppy for a walk (between party chores) we saw a flock of small birds, most likely sparrows, that must had over 500 birds in it. It was really cool to see them flying around, breaking into smaller groups and then rejoining. The murder of like 70 crows was not as cool though. Had flashbacks to The ( Read more... )

After all of the scheduling hell and finding subs for volleyball, last night was fun. We won the last game of the second match, but that brings the team to 3 games won for the season. After a big event I usually have a let down period. Kind alike I feel I've met some goal and there should have been something more at the end, like a ribbon or something (kidding). Weekend went well. Got to mom and dad's late Friday night, chatted with mom and my sister for a bit. Woke up earlish (as is usual up north) and went out to the lake as it was park work day. Helped move the picnic tables to their winter storage and cleaned up the tress that my dad cut down because they were dead. After that we headed over to grandma ( Read more... )

I have to think, and question, and figure out how things need to be done, all while learning how things are usually done here (which I don't have a problem changing if I think I know a better way--that seems to be the standard here).
