I taught my RS lesson today on Remembering Our Spiritual Heritage. I loved the material and hope the class got as much out of it as I did. So a couple of weeks ago Brad's sister called us and asked if we could use some travel vouchers that would expire at the end of the month. Brad is really trying to wrap up an important part of his flying stuff so I thought it might prove to be impossible and stress him out further. I taught Relief Society to start the morning. The lesson was proclaiming the Gospel. Pretty easy subject to talk about but not so much the doing sometimes. I think it went pretty well. Last week we went to Yellowstone. The boys were not terrible in the car but I'm not sure we would have made it much further without someone having a meltdown.(I'm not saying who) How did those brave pioneers take their families over such distances under such conditions? Over the last couple of weeks we have been enjoying the outdoors and the wonderfully mild weather. What a nice relaxing weekend we had.  Brad took Friday off to fly and to get the things done we usually have to worry about on Saturday.  This made our Saturday just delightful.  Our activities included feeding the geese, ducks, and seagulls at Sugarhouse Park, eating, shopping, playing with the kids on the slides and swings.  We decided to hold ( Read more... )
