What a nice relaxing weekend we had. Brad took Friday off to fly and to get the things done we usually have to worry about on Saturday. This made our Saturday just delightful. Our activities included feeding the geese, ducks, and seagulls at Sugarhouse Park, eating, shopping, playing with the kids on the slides and swings. We decided to hold off another year to color eggs and our egg hunt earlier in the week satisfied all interested parties in that tradition. I just loved enjoying the day with no agenda, but a lot of smiles and giggles. My house was not even a wreck at the end of the day. Nice! Sunday meetings were uplifting and the evening at mom and dad's was a nice topper. Ronda sent the kids nice little gifts. She just misses seeing them so much she can't help herself. Jim commuting from VA to LA has not helped the situation. Living alone with a senior in highschool who keeps himself very busy and away from home she finds herself finding ways to spoil her grandchildren. A couple more months and at least Jim and Ronda will be able to be together more. The latest plan is they will rent a place in CA until Jim retires in a few years.
I haven't written in so long and there is so much I have thought about writing. I never feel like I have time to get to it all, so I just never post anything. I need to just DO IT. Some is better than none. So there is some of my some, which is better than none. Goodnight.
