Over the last couple of weeks we have been enjoying the outdoors and the wonderfully mild weather. We did get a bit rosy on our excursion to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. **pats self on back** I have remembered sunscreen since. Thanksgiving Point was a surprise to me. I did not realize how large or interesting the landscape was having never been to the gardens before. We also celebrated Arbor Day by visiting Red Butte Garden. Brad had the day off so that was nice to spend an extra day this weekend with him. Weekends are always too short. Unfortunately Nicholas was not feeling great. By the time we got home he had a temperature. We put him to bed and 3 hours later he seemed good and we have seen no symptoms since.

I have spent time with a couple of friends from my previous life. It is always fun to see what is going on in each others lives...and sometimes a little bit heartbreaking. It makes me realize all the more reasons I have to be thankful.

After attending the Special Needs Mutual production I felt quite emotional. So much innocence up on that stage I felt almost like they were going to be taken to heaven before my eyes. Katie was awesome as the laughing hyena...very appropriate if you have heard her squeal. Another favorite was a wrinkly little older man playing a pirate and the unforgettable fire dancer. They have a great time.

Yesterday as I was cleaning outside windows Brad was reminded how I HATE spiders. I screamed and jumped and nearly caused bodily harm to others with my squeegee. Brad thinks next time we could sell tickets.
