A while back, some might remember me waxing on about how I'd redo the show if I got my sticky hands on it and, I have to admit, one of the first things that occurred to me was that - initially, at least - I'd move the POV to that of the Watchers. Mortals who live a fantastical life fraught with real dangers, and who keep secrets and have an honour

This is awesome and needs to exist!

Highlander was my first love - I remember trying to convince my family to let me watch it while I was in high school (we had one tv for 6 people until I was 15, and finally got a second tv - which then the 4 kids had to share) - when I moved out on my own, I found a station that we re-running the series, and bought a vcr *specifically* to learn how to program it to record all the episodes so I could see the whole show :)

Got to be better than Highlander Reunion - the focus on the watchers rather than the immortals would also avoid one of Highlander's big problems; a visibly aging cast who are supposed to be immortal.

I have to admit, probably the only good thing that came out of Highlander Reunion were the icons (still better than the Source, though ;-P)

I can live with an ageing cast to a certain degree, I can handwave with the best of them, but twenty years is pushing it...
