A while back, some might remember me waxing on about how I'd redo the show if I got my sticky hands on it and, I have to admit, one of the first things that occurred to me was that - initially, at least - I'd move the POV to that of the Watchers. Ack! I wouldn't even know how to start wiritng fic for this. I suppose I could do a pilot episode sort of story and introduce the characters via a Maguffin of some sort - oh my, an Immortal with a name starting with a K has arrived in London. Panic stations!

I would have to give the show a try for Michael Fassbender and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Highlander Immortals, but I might not stick around. While I found the Watchers kind of interesting, and certainly dedicated a season to them in my reboot, I've always been more interested in the Immortals.

I adore the Immortal perspective but I thought it might be interesting to try to come up something from a different POV. Of course, it could all fall apart five episodes in! I'm not very good at huge story arcs!

These fantasy casting posts have been so much more amazing and wonderful than I ever thought they would be. Each time someone comes up with a new one, I get obsessed with the ideas all over again!

I don't know whether I should be :D :D :D :D at the very idea of this cast, or D: D: because I don't get to see it on my television. Plus now with added gorgeous femslash? Are you trying to kill me? Also, I am now totally shipping Jesse and Jack Evans, because the alternative is unthinkable.
