Thank you for the disclaimer! But I agree with you, and I am extremely vigilant about what my child is being taught in school and am not shy about voicing my displeasure when I believe his education is not proceeding in the right direction (see my rant the other day). And my husband and I were regulars in this congregation for 8 years, and did a very thorough investigation of their curriculum and standards prior to enrolling our son. I would also advise parents whose children go to such schools to make every effort to have their child participate in activities outside of school, in a more diverse environment. We have done this with J through sports, summer camps, etc., so he sees that not all children are like his schoolmates ( ... )

I (with appropriate "I'm not a parent" disclaimer) think that's an excellent suggestion.
