I don't know why, but when I listen to songs for my own fic I always end up finding songs for tmelange's instead. I didn't really expect to find a song that fit her latest "Hookerino" set of stories, which feature a great deal of Clark and Bruce hanging out and chatting. But then I find a song about, um, hanging out and chatting. And it's gorgeous, just

Jen, this is fabulous! I love Born! I can't tell you how much better the song makes me feel about my story! It's like it has given me a more defined purpose (and if you know me at all, you'd know that defined purpose drives everything I do) for the story that makes me like it a whole lot more--automatically. I just put it on repeated play on my playlist and dropped it onto my ipod. I've already listened to it 5 times...

Well, you know my purpose=to give you purpose. :) OTOH, if you didn't write such evocative stories, songs to fit them wouldn't keep falling in my lap. So it's kind of involuntary...
