So the main conceit of this mini-series is that Clark has to work in Gotham while Bruce works in Metropolis, which I have to say is a pretty awesome idea.

Bruce works especially well in Metropolis, I think, playing off Lois and Jimmy very nicely. He also wears some earth-shatteringly amazing clothing.

Yay, another wonderful scan just when I needed it and I would also like to add, when did Lois become Micheal Jackson, because that leather jacket is horrible.

hee the crack never stops no matter when the area is, it just seems to me the worse they dress Lois in these the better they dress Bruce.

Saying something about Clark's romantic choices maybe?

These scans are so beautiful... Totally agree with you about Brucie's outfits and drinking mannerisms, LOL. I've actually got the first part of this miniseries, but was never able to find the next two. So thank you for posting them!

Oh, awesome! I'm glad I could fill in the gaps for you a bit! I'm pretty sure it's coming out in TPB in June...I might have to buy myself a copy. I've become more and more fond of it while reading it and talking to people about it...

I had forgotten all about the worst Christmas present ever, lol. I really have come to like the art in this! I think Clark looks particularly reporter-y and hot.

This miniseries is giving us all sorts of new OTPs, isn't it?

Oh, Worst Christmas Present Ever. It's such a VERY awkward scene. Bruce is upset and trying not to show it because he knows it's unreasonable, Clark isn't an idiot so he can tell Bruce is upset, they just screw it all up so badly. *sighs*

Clark does have a fantastic reporter look, doesn't he? It's a style that seems to be deliberately drawn from the old Fleischer cartoons...

Wow, I'm totally digging Steve Rude more and more. The details are just sublime and full of depth. When I think of Metropolis, I'm going to think of his art here.

Plus Lois/Beret? She's gonna make it after all!

I'm becoming really fond of Rude as I read this. His art unfolds more and more on re-reading. ALso, Lois/Beret OTP 4Evah baby! :)
