*grin* I always have a hard time commenting on music posts because I don't usually listen to them right away...so it's like, "Thanks for the music that I don't know if I'll like or not!" But if I wait until I DO listen to it, the post is long gone...oh, the dilemma! :)

Yoshida Brothers are awesome and have sparked a real revival of interest in shamisen music here. There's been some resistance to using traditional instruments in modern ways in Japan, I think, but that's starting to break down and I'm glad of it because it creates a much more distinctive style.
They're going to be in concert here in Nagoya next month...I really should try to get there...

It's Clark/Oliver and I have had it beta read except that while I see that some of her corrections would be good, I don't agree with everything but I don't want to say anything yet in case I'm completely wrong and please could you help? Sorry.
I'd be willing to take a look at it, but I'm probably not the best choice in some ways, because I've never watched Smallville. So if it's an issue of character portrayal or connected to story elements, I'll be pretty much in the dark. :) If it's something more abstract than that, though, and you're willing to take a risk, feel free to send it along to daeriel at juno.com...
