I'm going to came back and re-write it when I am less pissed.

The back-story of Seio and Bruce's relationship is pretty much what I thought it would be : ) It's a beautiful and heartbreaking story, and I'd really like to read if you ever do write it someday. I know it would be wonderfully done.
The slab-like face contorted. < My son was a worthless, troublemaking waste of space. But I had nothing to do with his death. >
I'd also like to know why Seio was disowned by his father. Maybe you could write The Life Story of Matsunaga Seio? ; )
"The technical term is a 'white knight.' I'm a white knight."
Heh.
The words were formal but her eyes were warm.
I love how perceptive the women in your story-both Chiaki and Asaka-are. "Brucie" was hilarious and awesome here. It reminds me of when he took back control of WayneCorp in Batman Begins.
The sun hit Clark at the same time as a thought that had never consciously occurred to him before, and without thinking he blurted suddenly, " ( ... )

LOL, I posted the story and then LJ immediately went cranky. I spent the rest of the evening here cursing and hitting "refresh..."

Well good, because I know I didn't know! :) Damn that secretive Bat...
I am fairly sure that Seio got disowned because he was trying to clean up the graft and corruption in Matsunaga Corporation. Also that he married an educated, passionate woman rather than his father's choice. :)

It's definitely the same vibe, isn't it? I love those moments, when he gets to pwn people totally. *happy sigh*
As Clark had his revelation, I imagine that the clouds parted, a beam of divine sunlight hit him, and angelic voices were heard.*grin* It definitely makes him more...accessible. This ( ... )

Well, considering you were concerned about smut levels, I think something must be going on...unless it's, like, Clark having a sexy dream which is totally okay too.
Thank you so much for re-commenting! I always find it devestating when LJ eats a long comment, I can never get my groove back...
No problem! I'm always bursting with things that I must communicate to you after reading your stories. *hugs*
Also, check out my new icon! I made it last night after you posted those scans.

someone I can trust."
Bruce smiled.
Oh Bruce you... manipulative person you.
"The technical term is a 'white knight.' I'm a white knight."
*giggles*
Asaka Matsunaga, widow of Seio Matsunaga.
Oh Bruce you... cunning person you.
Bruce reached into his suit pocket and did an exaggerated mime of surprise as he pulled out the silver memory stick.
I just have sooo much love for Bruce in this chapter.
Clark restrained himself from kissing that sharp and dangerous smile with a mighty effort.
You shouldn't have Clark. You really shouldn't.
He knew that Bruce would never be interested in a big blue Boy Scout from Kansas, but...knowing he could be interested...it made a difference, somehow.
You're underestimating yourself, Clark! Silly Clark.
As I said, I have much love for Bruce in this chapter. :) I hope the next one is up soon!

Isn't he awesome here? That's really largely DaMo's doing, I have to say. He realized that was what I was aiming for and brought it out soo nicely.

Oh, I know! Wouldn't it have been awesome if he'd just snapped and lunged? Though Bruce is still a step behind...might have taken him aback a bit.
Clark is being silly here, I know...he's still kind of rattled and has managed to half-convince himself this is merely physical by the next chapter, LOL. Very, very silly Clark.
Glad you enjoyed!

That was pretty much all DaMo! He realized I was aiming for Brucie when I didn't and helped me get there. So...he's allowed to say random downer things about dying here and there, I guess. :)
And the revelation to Clark was handled precisely with the deft touch I expect from you.
Aw, thanks! This Clark's a little...less worldly than I usually imagine him, so he's been a bit slow on the uptake, LOL. :)
Glad you liked!

The glare he gave Clark wavered into misery around the edges Good line.
Typo: "As satisfying as anything is that doesn't being my friend back." = bring.

HaHA, I already caught that typo! Well, someone else pointed it out to me...

Aha! I knew it, I kind of suspected something while reading the last chapter but yes! Even though nothing happened between them I knew there was something.
"I probably should be apologizing to you. I didn't have any real reason to think you'd be that closed-minded. I just kind of assumed."
Oh Bruce just because he's from Kansas and wears red and blue doesn't mean anything! Also the tights should be a big giveaway.
And good use of Brucie, he like Bruce and Batman does justice except he doesn't mean to and comes off like an airhead which is how Bruce intends it to be.

*grin* I think Seio was close to Bruce's first love, if he had allowed it to be...

Much snickering about the tights! Poor Bruce was hardly fair there, but I think he was feeling on edge about Seio and there's something about Clark that's really getting on his nerves right now (that would be "his attraction to Clark," but he doesn't know it yet).
brucie and Batman working together are a lot of fun and a hard combo to beat!
*hugs* Thanks so much for commenting!
