Harry Potter Retrospective: all 8 films in 13 minutes, by a Dutch film student.
but holy hel, this was an absolutely perfect piece of editing, all the scenes and music and occasional dialogue voice over from the films, just… PERFECT.
We watched it 3 times on a 40 inch screen in high def, and it was just all sorts of gorgeous.
/teared up at the end.

Henry4 p1, life, rules
1. Henry 4 part1, on 2nd viewing, while usually a funner and more exciting play than Richard 2, was not as good in the Hollow Crown production. Too disjointed, with moments of moving brilliance, and many spots of spottiness, exemplified by Tom Hiddleston's Prince Hal. bascially 2.5 hours of nummy nummy kinging around and feeling guilty about duty, while Ben Whishaw dresses up as sexy gay Jesus.

Balotelli: Amazing Goal is still amazing
Watch: it's the guy in blue. No assists, no sides, no rolling in by mistake. Just a clear kick, shoot, score that's wow. wow. Balotelli looks a bit stunned after doing that. -
Dutch Things +
Holland lost to Denmark. DENMARK. This is the game they were betting they'd win 2:0, 3:0 over here. Then lost 1:0. The whole weekend was a lesson in shell shock. Beautiful weather, empty sullen streets.
v. sad. didn't see the game. was secretly rooting for nordic victory, woo hoo. (:D)

Since 2003 HP fandom's been my base, my heart, my lodestar, and even after the big delete and exit in 2007 (moved, life, weird), it's the only one I keep up with come Holidays and BBs. So when stalwart HP fen say they don't get the Avengers!feels, I'm actually thinking, oh, good, cause I need you guys around to man the HP fort forever. hehehehe.
