Major issues continue to arise on a ship that just spent two months being "repaired".

Lots of work as of late, and still not much of interest happening, hence the lack of posts.

I keep almost posting entries and then stopping because I don't really have anything to say. There's nothing very interesting or exciting going on out here, which is probably a good thing. Sorry I haven't been in touch. I've been busy playing tourist and having fun while I can. Kumamoto Castle was awesome, and Sasebo is always fun. Had dinner at the Steak Salon last night and made a convert out of one of my coworkers who'd been bitching about the concept of eating at a steak house as oppposed to a shushi place while in Japan. I learned something new this weekend. While there are lots of potential bone marrow donors, there is a critical shortage of funding to test potential donors to see whether they are matches for people who need bone marrow donations.
