More Wire-Wrapped Goodness
A few more pieces I've made recently.
First, a set with some fuchsia chalcedony briolettes. [I never seem to be able to spell fuchsia right on the first try; it's such a funny-looking word. Long-overdue Jewelry Update!
Argh, so it feels like I haven't had the time to work on my shop in the longest time. During the holiday rush I was just barely sending out a few packages each week and relisting to compensate... and after that, I didn't touch it at all until now. Rings
I had a mini impromptu photoshoot one night when I got distracted whilst cleaning up my jewelry.
Basically I piled on a ridiculous amount of rings - enough that they cut off the circulation in my fingers x_x

New Earrings!
So I spent most of last night and a bit of this morning making these. It was my first time trying out the spiral ends, and I had originally planned to make a pair of cluster earrings, but then it occurred to me that the spirals would look better dangling down. Polyclay Update
So, I spent most of yesterday making some new polymer clay things. A few roses, a couple of lilies, some abstract things for me, and a smidge of dessert. I'm not really happy with the lilies or the desserts; the cookies were just an experiment I've been planning for a while, and the white clay for the lilies just wouldn't behave this time. New creations
I notice I've been making a lot of jewelry "for me" lately.
Perhaps because I just made a huge stash of earrings for my shop, and I've got big plans for necklaces once I get my shipment of chains. Also I have a bunch of bracelet chains and toggle clasps, but I'm not sure yet what to do with them... I don't seem to have much luck with charm bracelets ( Read more... ) -
