So of course Nanowrimo is next month. It's hard to believe that it surprised me to find that I have the writing bug again, but then I realized that it's starting to become a habit. So yeah, I knew it was going to be hard to get anything done, but not as hard as it was. I only got about 3k words written... I'm not posting them right now, just because I feel like that would make it that much more of a failure. I did write one of my English papers using NaNoWriMo as the inspiration. I figured I'd share that. :)

It's hard to believe it's that time of year already. I have no idea if I'm going to be able to complete or even participate this year. I feel like I'm giving up before it starts. I did it!
I did it!!!! I just approved my book and ordered my copies today. I decided to call it 'Dragon's Line' an introduction to the 'Parallels Collide' series. I know it's not complete, but I kinda like the way it ends. I couldn't quite get the formatting right so that each chapter starts on a new page, but I'm not going to make a big fuss over it, I ( Read more... ) -

So I'm almost certain that I won't get the story to the point where I wanted, but I'm happy with it anyway. I'm just going to keep plugging away.

This is the army...
Today was not so good. Well it was good to start with. It got bad around 3:30..... Last weekend was a drill weekend (my first at the reserve unit) and there were some brand new soldiers. Keeping the ball rolling.
So I'm gaining just the littlest amount of confidence in my story. I had to edit the ages to better match the way Tonto behaves, and I took out the entire first part about how he was born. I edited his mother into telling him the important parts. So there is a small chance that some of the upcoming story may seem redundant, or contrary to something ( Read more... )
