I absolutely agree with you! :) The way it is expressed sounds exactly like its coming straight from his mouth, I guess that’s how the truth and honesty of it all is conveyed so beautifully and simplistically. It’s not just a poem, but this man’s journey, his thoughts, beliefs and pain.

i too liked Dorothy Parkers poem 'One Perfect Rose'.

‘Andre’s Mother’ by Terrence McNally teaches the audience the magnitude of dramatic elements such as the setting, lighting, and delivery of lines by expressing the key features in a not only a verbal, but a visual way.

I believe that within this play, the silences are even more significant than words utilised.

I really loved reading “in Just” by E.E. Cummings. I liked the purity and free spirit of it. From reading this poem I began to understand the importance of the techniques utilised by Cummings such as the structure and symbolism as they aided my understanding of the poem as a whole.

I agree with you 100% that being a female allowed me to entirely grasp the realism and force of Hemingway’s words.
