I realized I didn't post anything about my 4th of July! I went to the Waterfront for the Blues Festival! I'll stop using exclamation points now. $8 and two cans of non-perishable food got me in for a day of dancing to some soulful music, as well as free beer and cereal samples. Today I worked a 5 hour shift at Aerosoles, and then went to work at Living Room Theaters for 6.5 hours. Really, it didn't seem that long because of the change of scenery. I love Portland. On my walk I saw a band playing on the sidewalk outside of Nordstrom's who claimed they were doing a tour of 48 states in 48 days. I gave $4 to a family who said they needed bus fare because their car broke down. I chose to believe them. I also saw a brick in the sidewalk that said, "Loose lips sink ships."
